Two people have died in an accident involving a Muguka vehicle in the Kombani-Mwambara region of Kwale County.
According to witnesses at the scene, the decedents were smuggling Muguka despite a restriction on the stimulant in the coastal region.
Witnesses said the car was traveling over the speed limit to Ukunda and Diani when the driver lost control and rolled many times.

The Kwale County security agency verified the tragedy and stated that additional investigations would be conducted to determine the cause of the disaster.
Kwale County's projects director and disaster coordinator, Chakaya Ronald, stated that the county had limited the usage of muguka by raising taxes.
According to witnesses at the scene, some locals decided to rob the Muguka vehicle after the accident.
