As Gen Z prepares for another day of protests, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has warned those who intend to use the movement to damage, loot, or harm city residents.

According to banners shared on social media platforms, all Kenyans are asked to attend the protests to protest alleged corruption and demand the resignation of the existing leadership.
In Kisumu, activist Boniface Akach stated that protesters will take to the streets to pay respect to those killed by police. He mentioned that they would meet at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Sports Ground.
The body issued a notice acknowledging the citizens' right to protest peacefully without spreading propaganda or hate speech.

During a round table with the media, President Ruto said that KDF will not be on the streets and will only be used as a last resort in case of violence.
"The KDF will not be in the streets. They only come as a last resort. If the demonstrations will be peaceful I promise you the police will be there to protect the demonstrators," Ruto said.
