In a recent interview with Oga Obinna, DJ Fatxo stated that after the DCI conducted their investigation, they submitted all the paperwork to the DPP. He mentioned that the DPP concluded there was no case. DJ Fatxo explained that no one was charged with the murder because no one had committed the acts alleged by the public.

When asked by Obinna where he was when Jeff Mwathi died, DJ Fatxo responded that he was asleep in another apartment and that he was drunk at the time. The truth about Jeff Mwathi's death continues to unfold, as police officers and the suspects seem to be aligned. May the late Jeff Mwathi rest in peace.

It was initially alleged that the late Jeff Mwathi committed suicide by throwing himself out of a 10-storey building window. However, after his burial, stories emerged suggesting that he was allegedly killed and then pushed through the window.

DJ Faxto had earlier opened up to the public, sharing a detailed account of the events leading up to the tragic night when Jeff Mwathi lost his life. During an interview with Massawe Japanin on Radio Jambo, Dj Fatxo explained that he and Jeff had planned to work together the following day, which is why they decided to go to his apartment in Kasarani. Dj Fatxo thought it would be more convenient for Jeff to spend the night at his place so they could start working early the next morning.

When asked about how they first met, the Dj mentioned that he obtained Jeff's contact information through a mutual friend named Faith Mutanu, who shared Jeff's number with him. The reason behind Dj Fatxo's request for Jeff's number was that he had a specific project in mind and needed Jeff's assistance.

He goes further to say he and Jeff were not very close, but they would interact occasionally; hence he had no reason to kill him.

It was after a short interaction that they decided to meet up and talk about the business he had for Mwathi. The two later went partying and clubbing with others until later in the night when Jeff met his demise.
