As members of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) mourn their founder and overseer, Bishop Allan Kiuna, leaders have shared heartfelt messages of condolence. Bishop Kiuna passed away on Tuesday at a hospital in Nairobi where he was undergoing treatment.
Pastor Dorcas Rigathi described him as a gallant soldier and promised to support the family through prayer. "My heart goes out to Rev. Kathy Kiuna and her family as the nation mourns the loss of a great teacher of the Word and a pillar in the body of Christ," Pastor Dorcas said. "May God comfort and strengthen you to bear this great loss of a father and husband."
She also extended her condolences to the JCC community and the broader Christian body, wishing them God's peace during this difficult time. "Our Bishop has fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). To God be the glory. My departed brother, rest in peace and shine on to glory until we meet again at Jesus' feet," she added.
Ezekiel Mutua, CEO of the Music Copyright Society of Kenya, praised Bishop Kiuna for his passionate and powerful preaching. "He preached with zeal, power, and conviction and did not hold back even in the face of criticism," Mutua said. "His powerful sermons and transformative leadership made JCC a global brand.
