On July 13, ODM party leader Hon. Raila Odinga spoke out after several bodies were retrieved from the Kware area in Mukuru Kwa Njenga, Nairobi County.



In his tweet, Odinga expressed that it was a dark moment for Kenya to witness this retrieval. He extended his condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and demanded that those involved in this act face the full force of the law immediately. In a reply to his tweet, Odinga called for accountability from the government. The retrieval is expected to continue today.

"It’s a sad and dark moment for Kenya, what we have witnessed in Mukuru Kwa Njenga, pains me deeply. To the families who have lost loved ones, accept my deepest condolences. The perpetrators of these and other heinous acts must face the full force of the law immediately." Said Hon Raila Odinga.
