The family of Sammy Cullin Maina is in mourning after his body was found at the city mortuary days after he was reported missing.
According to a close acquaintance, Maina went missing in early June, causing relatives, friends, and the general public to search for him online.
"He had gone to Ngara to visit a friend," Maina's pal Eddy Ollo stated.
However, on Sunday of this week, his family got devastating news: a body like his had been transported to the city mortuary by police.
The corpse was listed as unknown and was supposedly discovered near a car wash.
"The body was found in Kasarani," said Mary Omari, a traffic police official.
“But his family is left with so many unanswered questions,” his friend Ollo added.
