Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka was forced to abandon his press conference and flee for his safety after a group of youths stormed his meeting.
A widely shared video shows over 50 youths invading a meeting at the Jaramogi Foundation, claiming that Raila Odinga cannot be disrespected under any circumstances. It is alleged that the attackers waited until Odinga left the venue before disrupting the event, declaring that no press conference could take place.
This incident follows recent disagreements among Azimio la Umoja leaders regarding how to engage with President William Ruto. Musyoka stated that he is not willing to participate in another dialogue that will not yield results.
