Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti has advised President William Ruto to take his time in selecting individuals for his second Cabinet. Speaking at a Sunday Mass in Athi River, Wavinya emphasized that Kenyans are closely watching how the President will form a Cabinet with the right people.

"He should take his time and not rush into it. He should listen to the citizens and choose people who can effectively serve them," said the governor.

Governor Wavinya acknowledged that while public servants are not without faults, the President has an opportunity to choose individuals capable of working for the benefit of Kenyans.

On July 19, President Ruto unveiled 11 new members of his Cabinet, filling positions left vacant after the dismissal of his first Cabinet. The nation is now waiting for the President to announce additional members for his second Cabinet.
