A Homa Bay Court has arraigned a man identified as Dickson Okeyo Nyanjwa for allegedly defiling a 16-year-old girl in Gogo Katuma village, Homa Bay County.
He was arraigned before the Homa Bay Chief Magistrate Charles Mutai for defiling the minor contrary to the Sexual Offences Act 2006.
The court heard that Nyajwa lured the girl to his house last Saturday, where he defiled her.
However, Nyanjwa denied defiling the girl in Form Two at a secondary school in the Homa Bay Sub-County.
Magistrate Mutai ruled that Nyanjwa could be released on a bond of Kes 200,000, and the case will be heard on September 23, 2024.
