Residents of Muhoroni are in shock after the discovery of the decomposed human remains at a sugarcane plantation in Chemelil.
An agricultural officer discovered Chemelil Sugar Factory, harvesting cane at the factory's nucleus farm.
DCI officers responded to the scene and retrieved several human bones, including a skull, pelvic bones, and limbs. The items found were assorted clothing, such as a brown school skirt, an old blanket, two small sufurias, and two plates.
A police report revealed the discovery of a wallet containing a national ID card belonging to Wycliffe Chemiat near the remains. The bones were taken to Ahero Sub-county Hospital for DNA testing and identification, as investigations begin.
