Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary nominee Alfred Mutua has revealed his net worth is Kes 462 million compared Kes 420 million he revealed in 2022.
He made the revelation when he appeared before the National Assembly Commitee on Appointments on Sunday with the amount representing Kes 42 million increase.
"The Kes 462 million has been about 9-10% normal growth in terms of land value and growth in the industries. My net worth is made of assets that I have like homes, land where I do some bit of farming and a few businesses that I have.”
Mutua is among the previous cabinet secretaries who were re-nominated after President Ruto dismissed his entire cabinet following nationwide protests against his administration.
Mutua has served as both Foreign Affairs and Tourism CS since 2022.
