Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has reshuffled his cabinet and reassigned five County Executive Committee Members (CECMs).

According to a statement by the county boss on Monday evening, he replaced Acting County Secretary Patrick Analo and named Godfrey Akumali in a similar capacity.

Analo retained his substantive role as Chief Officer of Urban Planning and Development.

In the reshuffle, Sakaja moved Built Environment and Urban Planning CECM Stephen Gathuita Mwangi to the Boroughs, Administration, and Personnel docket, replacing Patrick Mbogo.

Mbogo moved from Borough Administration and Personnel to Built Environment and Urban Planning.

Similarly, he moved Brian Mulama from Mobility and Works to Talents, Skills Development, and Care and reassigned Ibrahim Auna Nyangoya from Green Nairobi to Business and Hustler Opportunities.

Additionally, he moved Rosemary Kariuki from Talent, Skills Development, and Care to Inclusivity, Public Participation, and Customer Care.

The changes also affected eleven Chief Officers including Geoffrey Mosiria, who was in the Health Facilities sector and was moved to Environment.

 Tiras Njoroge was reassigned from Smart Nairobi to Revenue Administration and also made the acting CCO for ICT Infrastructure.

Boniface Nyamu was moved from Mobility to Business and Hustler Opportunities, while Zipporah Mwangi was reassigned from Business and Hustler Opportunities to Public Participation, Citizen Engagement, and Customer Service.

Godfrey Akumali has also been reassigned from Cooperatives to Social Services, and Zipporah Mwangi from Business and Hustler Opportunities to Public Participation, Citizen Engagement, and Customer Service.

On the other hand, Dr. Machel Waikenda was transferred from Economic Planning to Mobility, George Mutiso was shifted from Social Services to Cooperatives, Hibrahim Otieno was transferred from the Environment Department to Health Facilities, John Lintari transitioned from ICT Infrastructure to Economic Planning, and Lydia Mathia was reassigned from Public Participation, Citizen Engagement, to Housing and Urban Renewal.

Wilson Gakuya was moved from the Revenue Administration to Smart Nairobi.
