Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has changed their tune about opposing a broad-based government and is now open to Odinga's partnership with President William Ruto.
The wiper leader revealed that he is collaborating with Raila Odinga to strengthen the Azimio coalition, aiming to build a powerful alliance to challenge the presidency in 2027.
Initially opposed to ODM's cabinet nominations, Kalonzo's viewpoint has shifted. Today, he hints at a change in approach.

"We must continue to engage with Raila Odinga as it is right now. He is the leader of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition, and until the time we decide whether to release him to go to the AU," Musyoka commented.
As rumors swirl about his future moves and internal disputes within the Azimio coalition, Kalonzo prepares to challenge Ruto in the 2027 elections. He believes that a new political alignment is essential for a successful campaign.
"When that time comes, we will have to look at that. The idea is to form a formidable coalition that will drive Kenya Kwanza home," stated Musyoka.
At the Oslo Center Africa Youth Forum, Kalonzo discussed anti-government protests led by Gen-Z, emphasizing youth inclusion in national conversations and calling for justice for protest victims.
The Africa Youth Forum noted Kenya’s role as a regional leader in promoting constitutional rights and democracy.
"The base and the foundation are in Kenya, and so it will remain here. The greatest resource is the young people," said Oslo Center Chairman Finn Jarle.
Kalonzo also mentioned that an Azimio council meeting, chaired by former President Uhuru Kenyatta, is being planned to address coalition issues.
