The 39-year-old, who has won five Ballon d'Or awards and currently plays for Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia, joined YouTube on August 21 and quickly became a sensation on the platform.

Ronaldo announced the launch on his social media, encouraging fans to "SIUUUbscribe" to his new channel. Just a couple of hours after his first video was posted, the channel had already attracted 1.69 million subscribers, breaking the record for the fastest channel to reach one million subscribers in under 90 minutes.
Within 24 hours, the number skyrocketed to 17 million, solidifying Ronaldo's dominance on another digital platform. The channel, named "UR," offers fans an intimate look into Ronaldo's life with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, and features a variety of content. Ronaldo and Georgina play the famous Mr. and Mrs. game in the first few videos, revealing personal insights. In contrast, another video explores Ronaldo's opinions on NFL vs. NBA, boxing vs. UFC, and Rafa Nadal vs. Novak Djokovic.
Ronaldo's channel will also feature discussions on his greatest passion—soccer—and other interests like family, wellness, nutrition, recovery, and business. The football star expressed excitement about finally bringing this long-held project to life, noting that it will strengthen his already powerful connection with fans by offering more profound insights into his personal and professional life.
