A fire burnt down one of Isiolo Boys High School's old dormitories on Tuesday evening when students were in classes for the evening preps.
The students tried to put out the fire using fire extinguishers but all was in vain as the blaze overpowered them.
About an hour later, the Isiolo County government fire and rescue services engine arrived and assisted in putting out the fire.
This comes afew days after Isiolo Girls High School’s Form One dormitory was razed down by a raging inferno,
Similarly, another fire incident at Hillside Endarasha Academy in Nyeri County caused the deaths of at least 21 students and left others injured last week.
