Detectives in Kipchimchim Ward in Ainamoi Constituency have launched an investigation into the death of former area MCA Bernard Mutai.
Mutai's body was found hanging from a beam in his bedroom on Thursday afternoon. He served as Kipchimchim MCA from 2012 to 2017 and from 2017 to 2022.
The area assistant chief, Philemon Koskei, verified the death but did not provide additional specifics.
The circumstances surrounding his death remain unknown.
