Police in Kisii County are investigating an incident in which unknown persons stole six goats from a homestead at the Riondong’a village, in Keumbu.

Confirming the Saturday night incident, Keumbu area chief Dennis Bikeri said the robbers stole at Kennedy Ongaki home.

Similarly, police have arrested two secondary school students after they were reportedly found in possession of a stolen posho mill funnel in the same village

Police say the posho mill funnel is said to have been uprooted from their school posho mill. confirmed the incident.

Further, he said the two students; one in Form 4 and the other in Form 2, are suspected of stealing the said equipment from their school.

According to police, it is unclear where the suspects were taking the funnel.

The two suspects will be arraigned in court on Monday, September 16.
