One person has died in an accident along the Thika-Garissa road after their lorry rammed into a stationary trailer at the Kanyonyo shopping center located at the border of Machakos and Kitui Counties.
According to police, the vehicle was heading to Mwingi from Matuu before the accident occurred.
The lorry's turn boy died on the spot following the unfortunate incident.
The body of the deceased has been taken to Mbaku Funeral Home in Matuu.
