Following his visit to Port-au-Prince, where he engaged with Haitian political leaders and personnel from the Multinational Security Support (MSS) Mission, Ruto expressed optimism about Haiti's future.
He highlighted significant early achievements of the MSS, including the reopening of Port-au-Prince’s airport and the resumption of flight operations, alongside the successful retaking of the city's main hospital.
