Detectives investigating the discovery of a mutilated body found at Lang'ata Cemetery on October 31, 2024, believe it may be linked to the same suspect responsible for the Eastleigh murders.
Hashim Dagane Muhumed, the main suspect in the murders of a mother, her daughter, and her 12-year-old niece in Eastleigh, is also suspected in this case. Key evidence from the crime scene led detectives to identify the victim at a Quickmart supermarket in Nairobi, where CCTV footage captured her shopping on October 29, 2024.
Investigators confirmed she later visited a flat in Lavington, where she was recorded on CCTV entering the building. Dagane, who lived there, was seen accompanying her. They reportedly spent time together, and on October 31, 2024, Dagane was captured on surveillance cameras leaving the apartment with two bags, suspected to contain the victim’s remains, which were later found at Lang'ata Cemetery.
