Protests erupted into chaos in Nakuru County as employees of Kentalya Farm in Kamere village set a vehicle on fire and damaged property after the company dismissed five managers. According to a police report obtained by Citizen Digital, workers expressed frustration, saying the dismissed managers were their advocates within the company’s leadership.

The decision to terminate the managers sparked anger among employees, who gathered outside the farm in protest. Amid the unrest, the workers torched a Prado and caused damage to property within some of the farm’s offices. Police were deployed to restore order and bring the situation under control.

The report also stated that the management has been summoned to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to give statements as investigations begin. "An emergency meeting has been called by management to address the ongoing situation," part of the report noted.
