Police officers have fatally shot a man accused of terrorizing members of the public in Njiru, Nairobi County.
The suspect, Ian Omondi Achoki, also known as 'Iano,' is accused of stealing motorcycles from the KCC area in the Mowlem district and selling them to various destinations.
He died after a gunfight with police at Bargmo Court in the Kirima area. Police claimed they found a weapon, ammo, a mobile phone, and a motorbike.
A lady identified as Stella Nyambura, Achoki's wife, was also detained to assist with the investigation. Achoki was recently battered by a crowd over theft claims.
