The body of Martin Mwau, one of three men who disappeared in Mlolongo last December, has been located at the Nairobi Funeral Home.

This discovery follows the recent identification of Justus Mutumwa’s body at the same facility. Mutumwa, Mwau, and Karani Muema vanished on December 16, 2024, leaving their families searching for answers for over a month.

According to Mutumwa’s relatives, his remains were retrieved from Ruai and taken to the mortuary on December 18—just two days after he went missing. However, details regarding where Mwau’s body was found before being transferred to the facility remain unclear.

The case has raised serious concerns about the circumstances surrounding their disappearances and deaths. Authorities, including the Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja and Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Mohammed Amin, have repeatedly denied involvement. After initially ignoring court summons, both officials appeared on Thursday, maintaining that the matter is still under investigation.

With two of the three missing men now confirmed dead, public pressure is mounting on law enforcement agencies to uncover the truth and ensure justice for the victims and their grieving families. Meanwhile, the fate of Karani Muema remains unknown.
