Public Service Cabinet Secretary (CS) Justin Muturi is expected to be dismissed soon, possibly as early as today, according to Belgut Member of Parliament (MP) Nelson Koech. Speaking on Citizen TV’s *Daybreak*, Koech stated that Muturi’s outspoken criticism of the government, particularly regarding abductions and extrajudicial killings, had put him at odds with President William Ruto. Koech suggested that Muturi's direct attacks on the President had led to his imminent removal.

Muturi, who has voiced strong disapproval of the government’s handling of abductions, especially of young people, has brushed off threats of dismissal. Koech, however, claimed, “He has provoked the president, and I’m certain that in a week or two, Muturi will be out. He has made it clear he is challenging the president. It could even happen today.”

Muturi, a former Attorney General, has warned that the ongoing abductions and killings are tarnishing the country’s image and called for urgent action from President Ruto. “He’s upset the President,” Koech said, adding that Muturi’s exit is imminent.

At a press conference on Friday at City Mortuary, where the bodies of two of four abducted young men from Mlolongo were discovered, Muturi condemned the ongoing disappearances and killings of Kenyan youths. He described the situation as “murder most foul” and demanded the country prioritize the investigation into these abductions and extrajudicial killings.

Meanwhile, allies of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have criticized UDA lawmakers, including Duale, for calling for Muturi’s resignation.
