Provost of All Saints Cathedral, Dr Sammy Wainaina, wants president William ruto to make his wealth known to the public to combat corruption in the country.
During an interview with citizen tv, Sammy revealed four things that must be done by those in power to save kenya from economic collapse. According to the provost of All Saints Cathedral, one of the strategies is to decrease the cost of running the state. Dr Wainaina stated that the President must cut spending and make corruption very expensive.
Adding that the President should Imprison 10 people and take their ill-acquired wealth and that of their families and that Kenyans will fear corruption. When kenyans see their leaders live a particular life, they want to live like that too.
Dr Wainaina then urged the President to foster a work ethic culture in the country, claiming that doing so would help combat corruption.

Dr waiting noted that the country needs to work on its work ethics, adding that kenyans are hardworking people, but sometimes they work hard the wrong way. He noted that The levels of corruption in the country are at very high levels. He urged kenyans to learn to work hard.
Third, he stated that the country should embrace advanced technology, recognizing that innovation would address the country's food challenges.
Finally, Dr Wainaina emphasized the importance of reducing imports, saying that we should be a nation that produces.
Wainaina says that Importation will kill the country. Adding that the dollar rate has gone high. He concluded by saying that If there is anything that the President and KRA will do, it is to help young startups of production. Kenyans are creative. They can be able to produce for themselves and also produce for export.
