Kithure Kindiki, the Interior Cabinet Secretary, has adjusted the federal government, recalling four county commissioners and moving 20 others.
Herman Shambi (Nandi), Mathias Rioba (Trans-Nzoia), Michael Ivuto (Kirinyaga), and Stephen Kihara are among those who have been recalled (Embu).
For deployment, the four are back to the Harambee House headquarters of the Ministry of Interior and National Administration. Abdirisack Jaldesa, a county commissioner for Baringo, was transferred to Mombasa, while Michael Lesimam, formerly of Nyamira, is now based in Kericho.
Whereas Stephen Kutwa has been elevated from Deputy County Commissioner and sent to Baringo county, Gideon Oyagi of Kwale succeeds Rioba in Trans-Nzoia.

Thomas Sankei, who relocated from Tana River to Bungoma; Loyford Kibaara, Karuku Ngumo, Amos Mariba, Nobert Komora, who went from Tharaka Nithi to Marsabit; and Nobert Komora, who relocated from Murang'a to Wajir are among those who also made the shift.

Michael Mwangi relocates from Migori to Kwale, and Josephine Onunga leaves the administrative centre to take the position of County Commissioner in Taita-Taveta.
Twelve assistant county commissioners were elevated to full county commissioner status and assigned to various counties.
Jack Obuo replaces Gerishon Mathioya, Patrick Mukuria, Pius Murugu Mugambi, Wesley Koech Mabwa, David Kariuki Gitonga, Josephat Biwott, Louis Rono, Laurence Mueni, Caroline Mueni, Bejah M'mbesta, Tana River, and Nayioma Tobiko as Kiambu County Commissioner (Kirinyaga).
The most recent modifications by Kindiki involved the shifting of about nine deputy county commissioners.
Moving from Kimilili to Transmara South is Abdihakim Jubat; from Tana North to Kajiado North is James Taari; from Kajiado West to Tana North is Moranga Morekwa; and from Kajiado North to Samburu East is Patrick Mwangi.
Others, Catherine Kamathai, Samuel Gichohi, Aaron Omaset, and Lydia W. Munyi are among those who moved from Thagicu to Mathare, Isiolo to Tiaty East, Tiaty West, and Vihiga, respectively.
The changes announced on Tuesday did not affect 15 county commissioners, and they will continue to serve in their current positions.
