It has now come to our attention that the deceased had love ties to two women as the mystery surrounding the terrible murder of 23-year-old interior designer Jeff Mwathi continues to be solved.
On February 22, 2023, hours after Jeff was reportedly found dead, his girlfriend Faith Wairimu told the media that she had been called by one of the two ladies who had been with DJ Fatxo and Jeff the night of the incident at the Kikuyu singer's flat in Kasarani.
Wairimu claimed that a woman named Mutanu had called her and enquired about her knowledge of Jeff's whereabouts. The woman said Jeff wasn't at their party since they had all been drinking together.
When the woman contacted again, she kept telling Wairimu contradictory information about Jeff's whereabouts until it became clear that he had fallen from DJ Fatxo's apartment on the 10th floor.

Wairimu stated in later interviews with various media outlets that she would never be able to forgive those responsible for Jeff's death.
