Peter Kaluma, a member of parliament from Homa Bay Town, and attorney Ahmednasir Abdullahi have different opinions on the contentious LGBTQ+ issue in the nation.

Famous attorney Ahmednasir, often known as "Grand Mullah," appeared to tell the M.P. to mind his business and deliver to his constituents as Kaluma expressed his opposition to the practice.

The U.S. should not impose its rules on Kenyans because Kenyan law criminalizes LGBTQ+ people, Kaluma said in a statement shared and criticized by Meg Whitman, the U.S. ambassador to Kenya.

"During the previous week, my team and I met with members of the LGBTQI+ community and stakeholders to support their human rights. Whitman tweeted that the U.S. proudly pushes initiatives to shield LGBTQI+ people from prejudice and violence and will keep fighting for equality and human rights.

Her words echo a significant talking point after the Supreme Court ruled in favour of the LGBTQ+ community's ability to organize lobby groups.

The International Declaration of Human Rights mentions the rights of both men and women, Kaluma retorted. Kenyans won't tolerate that corrupt "sexual orientation" crap you're pushing in Kenya!
