Protesters were forced to withdraw after roads that led to the premise were barricaded.

Teargas is being used against Azimio la Umoja coalition supporters in different areas of the country as they engage police in running battles.

Around 10 a.m., a group of Azimio MPs led by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna entered the Kenyatta International Convention Centre. (KICC). According to Edwin Sifuna, Teargas will not deter them from completing their goal. He said that the parliamentarians had marched out of Parliament without weapons but were being teargassed.
Protesters have taken to the streets of Kisumu City, setting fire to bonfires in Kondele, a favourite hangout for Raila Odinga supporters. Several bodaboda motorcyclists assisted other protesters in spreading their message. The same things happened in Kitale.
Azimio fans are protesting the high cost of living due to the removal of subsidies, as well as the IEBC commissioner nomination procedure, and they want the servers used in the previous election. Raila Odinga says he won the elections by over 2 million votes, but the IEBC officials stole them.
