A group of women in Kiambu County's Gatundu South want Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to apologize to Mama Ngina Kenyatta for failing to safeguard her property following the invasion on Monday in Northlands City.
The women took issue with DP Gachagua after conducting protests on Wednesday, claiming that his inaction resulted in a loss of property worth millions of shillings.
The irritated women, led by Ruth Njeri Gichuri, wanted to know the debts that Mama Ngina Kenyatta and her family owe the nation so that they could join forces and help them pay to avoid further victimization and mistreatment.
"The invasion poses a threat to our lives and property because the invaders might also come to our homes," said Njeri.

"We want Gachagua, because he is our son and brother, to apologize to Mama Ngina. And she should also be given state security to protect them."
Priscilla Wanjiru added that appropriate action should be taken against the invaders to serve as a lesson to those who plan to engage in such acts in the future.
"We are greatly disappointed by the invasion and we would want Mana Ngina's property to be protected by President Ruto," she said.
"Those who were involved in the looting should also be held accountable."
The women lamented that the police's slow reaction to the incident was an obvious sign that the invasion was staged to facilitate the thuggery acts, which they blamed for tarnishing the country's image.
They also claimed that the Kenyatta family deserved respect and honour, claiming that they had paid a high price to free the country from colonization and had gone on to implement important developments that Kenyans now take for granted.
When the interior cs were asked about where police were during the invasion, he said that officers were handling the protests.
