Dorcas Gachagua, Kenya's second lady, has stated that there is no room in Kenya for the LGBTQ+ agenda.
Mrs Gachagua stated in Kajiado County on Saturday, during the third-anniversary celebration of the Osiligi Widows group, that the LGBTQ+ agenda adds no value to Kenyan society, noting that the country is currently dealing with more delicate economic issues such as poverty.
"Hello mambo, wanaume kuoa wanawake wengine na kina mama kuoa wanawake wengine...washindwe kabisa. We cannot continue to have a conversation that adds nothing to our society, "She stated.
"Other issues that this country faces include poverty and gender-based violence, among others."

As stated by the second lady, the primary family structure in Africa consists of a man, a woman, and children. She added that everything else is totally unacceptable in the eyes of Africans.
"Our family is crucial to us, and you can't have a family if you don't have a man or a woman. We must respect and honor the family as the most important basic unit "She stated.
She went on to say that Western nations should respect African culture rather than allegedly impose the LGBTQ+ agenda on Africans.
"It's about time the rest of the world to recognize Africa as our continent and African business as our business. If the LGBTQ+ agenda is a prime concern in their countries, we must respect it; however, they must also do the same." She stated.
