Seven worshippers of Malindi's notorious preacher Paul Mackenzie of Good News International Church, were taken to Malindi Sub County Hospital after their condition improved.
Malindi Sub County Hospital Administrator Said Ali stated that they got nine patients who were still alive and four bodies that remained at the hospital morgue.
In a phone interview, he stated that three had been released on Thursday and four on Friday.
He stated that all seven were handed over to DCI police in Malindi, who are also detaining the controversial preacher, who surrendered on Friday afternoon.

"We still have two patients in custody, and their condition is improving." These people are not sick; they are dehydrated, and we cannot provide them solid foods,' he explained.
According to the administrator, the victims were given IV (Water) upon arriving at the hospital, followed by light porridge until they were entirely stabilized. At that point, they were introduced to a solid meal.
According to Ali, a woman and a guy are still admitted but in stable condition.
