Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has defended the Kenya Kwanza regime on economic problems, adding that the President William Ruto-led government is attempting to restore it.
Duale stated on a local news channel that the country was in a poor economic situation, recalling the accumulative debts that befell Kenya throughout previous consecutive governments.
He, on the other hand, claimed that by August, the economy would have returned to normal, and citizens would have nothing to worry about.
“In another four months from today, the Kenyan economy itarudi vile inahitajika,” said Duale.

He also added that the president has established strategic strategies to help restore the economy to its previous state under the late President Mwai Kibaki's leadership.
"The President has put in place measures for Micro, Macro, and Physical policies that will make our market profitable and return it to President Mwai Kibaki's times," he continued.
According to CS Duale, the goal would only be reached via self-discipline as a state and with all government departments cooperating with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and keeping an eye on the country's debts.
