Mwangaza stated on Saturday in Meru that residents will not participate in protests.
“Sisi kama wa Meru hakuna siku moja utatuona tukibeba masufuria kwa kichwa tukienda maandamano. Tuko nyuma yako mia kwa mia,” She said.

If their demands are not satisfied by then, Azimio leader Raila Odinga has vowed to call his followers back out onto the streets.
Speaking to his supporters at Kamukunji grounds, Raila said that Mandaamano would restart if the Azimio La Umoja team did not hear from President William Ruto regarding how to proceed with their demand.
