The party has since suspended Kioni, the deputy chairman David Murathe, and Kagwe Gichohi from their roles as secretaries general due to what it described their "gross misconduct."
Jeremiah Kioni, the former Ndaragua MP, is facing four charges from the Jubilee National Disciplinary Committee, including making claims on behalf of the party without identifying party leaders and speaking beyond the scope of his official duties as defined in the constitution.
The party cited an example of Kioni's conduct, alleging that he made a decision that Jubilee Party would not field candidates in Kandara, Garissa Township, and Elgeyo Marakwet without consulting the relevant party organs, which was widely reported in the media.
Kioni is also being accused of failing to promote the party's interests while selecting members of parliamentary committees.
