Angry residents reportedly set ablaze an Embassava Sacco bus on Wednesday, May 17, following an incident where the conductor was accused of forcibly ejecting a passenger along Outering Road.
According to sources, a dispute ensued after a 17-year-old passenger ran out of funds, leaving a fare balance of Ksh20. This led to an argument between the passenger and the tout.
Subsequently, the conductor allegedly forcefully threw and pushed the passenger out of the bus, resulting in the passenger's unfortunate demise due to the impact of the fall.
In response to the unfolding situation, bystanders and pedestrians nearby quickly gathered at the bus, displaying their anger and seeking retribution against the conductor.

As per reports, the conductor managed to flee from the angry mob, abandoning the bus in the process. The furious residents, driven by their rage, proceeded to set the bus on fire.
The ensuing commotion resulted in significant traffic congestion on Outering Road, causing frustration among motorists who found themselves trapped in their vehicles for hours. To restore order and ensure public safety, officers from the traffic police department swiftly arrived at the scene.
