Four people died while several others sustained severe injuries after a bus they were travelling in was involved in an accident along the Isinya-Kiserian road on Monday morning.
Isinya Sub-County Police Commander Patrick Manyasa said the company bus was transporting workers to a farm when the driver lost control of the vehicle before it rolled several times, killing the four passengers.
Manyasi said the bus driver survived the accident but escaped and was being sought.
The Police Commander has called upon motorists to exercise extra caution on the road and avoid speeding to save lives.

“The accident which occurred today morning involving a bus ferrying over 60 farm workers has claimed four lives. The driver of the bus lost control before it rolled several times along the Isinya-Kiserian road near National oil Petrol station,” he said.
The injured passengers were rushed to Isinya Sub-County Hospital while the bodies of the deceased were moved to the Kajiado Referral Hospital awaiting postmortem.
The wrecked bus was towed to Isinya Police Station.
