Antonio Ruediger, Leroy Sane, and Ilkay Gundogan are three of the eight returning players in the 26-man roster that Germany coach Hansi Flick announced on Friday for the summer's friendlies.
The roster did not include Thomas Mueller, Serge Gnabry, Niklas Suele, or Mario Goetze, who travelled to Qatar for the 2023 World Cup.
Germany, which has already qualified for the 2024 European Championships as the host team, will play three friendlies in June this year.
"All the players are enormously motivated to give everything for the team and our fans in the next three international matches on the way to the home European Championship," Flick said in a statement released on Friday.
"We want to put our upcoming opponents under pressure with a lot of attacking power through the wingers and at the same time be compact defensively with the back three. We are very well positioned for this with our selected squad."
Sane, Ruediger, and Gundogan were absent from March's friendly with Germany. They defeated Peru 2-0 in Mainz and Belgium 3-2 in Cologne.
The national team "is and remains something special," Manchester City midfielder Gundogan told AFP subsidiary SID before the announcement. In June, I'll be there without a doubt.
Gundogan, a crucial member of the City squad that will play Inter Milan in the June 10 Champions League final, is unlikely to participate in the first game on June 12.
