Before the eagerly awaited demonstration at the Kamukunji grounds in Nairobi, the Azimio la Umoja alliance leader, Raila Odinga, has flown back into the nation.

Several leaders affiliated with the Azimio coalition, including Opiyo Wandayi, the minority leader in the National Assembly, welcomed the opposition leader at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) on Tuesday at around 2:00 pm.

After that, Raila is anticipated to travel to the Kamukunji grounds, where he is expected to lay out a plan of action in light of Parliament's controversial Finance Bill, 2023, which was approved on Wednesday.

Before the Azimio leader arrived, Wandayi remarked that they anticipate Raila to cover every angle in his speech, which will compel the government to alter its strategy.

"As you are aware, the country is currently in a state of fear due to the Finance Act's arbitrary passage. Kenyans anticipate that Raila will open the road to progress. He would first listen to the people before making decisions that, in my opinion, will have far-reaching effects, said Wandayi.

He will be informed of what has happened while he has been away. After that, he will work with the rest of the Azimio leadership and Kenyans to solve the problems this unyielding government has placed on the country.

The Kenya Kwanza administration is the target of the opposition's ire over the Finance Bill, which they accuse being passed against Kenyans' preferences.
