Residents of Ndaragu village in Njoro, Nakuru County, were shocked when a sick middle-aged woman vomited a dead rat.
On Wednesday, the mother of four, who was ailing, stated that she began feeling uneasy about midnight and began vomiting.
At around 3; am, she felt something like an object trapped in her throat and forced it out, where she discovered the dead rat in the basin after igniting her torch.

Locals, headed by her father and the village elder, told the journalists at the woman's home that someone had publicly disagreed with her and was suspected of being behind the unusual incident.
Following the encounter, the woman returned to bed and was still sleeping when villagers flocked to the village in the morning after her father informed neighbours.
In the incident's aftermath, village elders are expected to meet to perform cleaning rites on the woman.
