A 47-seater bus heading to Usenge from Nairobi overturned in the Mau Summit area of Nakuru County, injuring five passengers gravely while others sustained minor injuries.
Police and a crew"It is true the accident occurred when the bus was heading to Kericho from Nairobi. Passengers suffered minor injuries and were rushed to Londiani Hospital," the official stated.
The Kenya Red Cross Society reacted to the tragedy while attending a nearby memorial service for the Londiani accident, which killed over 50 people on Friday.
According to officials, minor injuries were treated at the site, while significant injuries were transported to the Londiani Sub County Hospital.
