The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition Party has announced that it will stage anti-government protests three days next week, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The group stated in a statement issued on Friday that due to public demand, it had reconsidered its prior plan to hold the protests just on Wednesday.
Part of the statement reads that to Further yesterday's communication on the Third Wave of peaceful protests scheduled to begin on Wednesday next week and in response to overwhelming requests from all sectors of the Kenyan public for the need to intensify these demonstrations, the Coalition hereby wishes to announce a calendar revision.

This is despite the government's emphatic warning that it will not allow the protests, which have left three people dead, many injured, and property of unknown value destroyed.
On Thursday, President William Ruto slammed his predecessor, Uhuru Kenyatta, and opposition leader Raila Odinga for orchestrating turmoil in the country under the cover of nonviolent anti-government demonstrations.
The Head of State accused Odinga of attempting to destabilize all three previous governments by twisting arms.
The president argued that the anti-government protests that have led to the loss of lives and destruction of property had nothing to do with the high cost of living.
“How can loss of lives and destruction of property reduce the cost of living? We will not allow the Opposition to hold our country at ransom as they engage in anarchy to pursue their selfish interests,” he said.
The Interior Cabinet Secretary also condemned acts of violence, looting, and property destruction recorded nationwide on Wednesday during anti-government demonstrations led by the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party.
The Interior CS promised that anyone who participated in the demonstrations, directly or indirectly, will be dealt with in accordance with the law. CS murkomen estimates that it will cost kenyans ksh 700 million to repair the damages caused to the expressway.
