Former Mungiki leader Maina Njenga has been released on a Kes 100,000 cash bail after denying having offensive weapons with a Kes 200,000 bond alternative.
Maina allegedly has 14 machetes, 24 Maasai swords, 46 rungus, and three plows.
He was arrested on Wednesday last week alongside his two brothers and personal assistant Ole Lekishe.
According to the court document, the trio was on July 19 found with "...cannabis weighing 1.224 grams of a market value of Kes 36,720 and cocaine weighing 486 grams of a market value of Kes 1.944. 000 concealed in plastic bag packages in motor vehicle make Toyota Hilux Surf registration number KCJ 413X."
Additionally, the document revealed that on July 20, the trio was found armed with 14 machetes, 24 Maasai swords, 46 rungus and three jembe sticks.

The document adds that the circumstances "indicated that they were so armed with intent to commit a felony."
The group allegedly organised an illegal gathering and procession in Nairobi city county and other regions on the same day.
Five counts of planning to conduct a criminal and trafficking narcotics will now be brought against the trio.
