After receiving criticism for weeks, the Cabinet Secretary for Sports, Arts, and Youth Affairs, Hon. Ababu Namwamba, has now spoken out about his relationship with actress and internet phenomenon Azziad Nasenya.
In recent weeks, CS Namwamba has been under fire for allegedly having a close love relationship with Azziad and using government monies to pay for her travels abroad.
Mr. Ababu appeared before the National Assembly and refuted all claims that his ministry had misappropriated public monies and had disregarded its mandate.
Meanwhile, the CS revealed that he is not romantically involved with the aforementioned girl during an exclusive interview with TV 47 on Friday night.
According to Hon. Namwamba, both he and Azziad are not receiving fair treatment. He declared that Azziad shares his innocence.
