According to his counsel, a Pakistani court rejected murder charges against former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday.
"God be praised," remarked the lawyer, Naeem Panjutha, on the messaging site X, formerly known as Twitter, after a court rejected accusations relating to the death of a lawyer in the southern city of Quetta.
Khan, accused of murder in June, has been charged in over 100 instances since his removal in a parliamentary vote of confidence in April 2022 following a disagreement with the country's powerful military.
