Investigations are ongoing after the body of an unidentified man was found in the Indian Ocean.
According to Haki Africa rapid response officer Mathias Shipeta, the unidentified man's body was found at Old Port in Mvita Constituency.
The body was found floating in the ocean by fishermen who reported the matter to the authorities.
Further, Shipeta says ocean currents might have swept the deceased from another area.
“The locals were not able to identify the man whose body was found at Old Port. He must be from another area,” he said.

The deceased's body has been taken to Coast General Teaching And Referral Hospital Mortuary.
Police have kicked off investigations into the matter.
