According to Law Society of Kenya president Eric Theuri, President William Ruto does not deserve the performance rating given to him in an Infotrak poll.
Kenyans rated Ruto a C, or 55%, in the poll, stating that his performance during his first year in government was average but could be far better.
Theuri feels that Ruto has failed to meet the aspirations of many Kenyans who supported him in power and keep the pledges he made before taking office.

During an interview on Citizen TV on Wednesday, Theuri said that Ruto's administration has underperformed on the most critical parts of operating government, from governance to service delivery.
"The feeling one gets when you look at the administration of President Ruto is one of somehow confusion. You are not exactly sure of what they want to achieve, and that is why I find that assessment at C somewhat is probably a bit generous," he said
"My assessment of him is that he has completely failed in his political appointments; I wouldn't even give him a D." When it comes to consistent messaging about his economic vision for the bulk of his voters, I'd give him a D or an E." he added.
The LSK president said that, despite his efforts, the people have yet to benefit much from any of them, especially in improving people's lives.
According to Infotrak polls, 53% of Kenyans believe their country is performing poorly, while 30% say it is doing well. This shows that most Kenyans believe their country is heading in the wrong direction.
During his first year in office, President William Ruto obtained an "Average" performance rating from 40% of respondents, while 30% gave him a "Poor" rating.
