A bodaboda rider has died in an accident along the Bomet-Narok highway following a head-on collision with a bus in the Longisa area.
Confirming the incident, Bomet East Sub-County police commander John Karani said the bus belonging to Mash company was heading to Narok.
"The bus was heading towards Narok before hitting the man. He died on the spot," Karani said.
"The incident resulted in a traffic jam that lasted for more than two hours. Officers moved in and restored normalcy," police added.
The body of the rider was taken to Longisa County Referral Hospital Mortuary.
