Prof. Kithure Kindiki, the interior cabinet secretary, revealed that 15,400 passports are available for pick up at various immigration centers this week.
The CS stated that this follows the collection of 22,353 passports in Nairobi and the country's regional immigration offices last week following his Rapid Results Initiative (RRI) for issuing visas to Kenyans.
The required passports must be picked up in Nairobi and other regional offices, according to Kindiki.
Seven thousand five hundred one passports are ready in Nairobi, 1,166 in Mombasa, 1,602 in Kisumu, and 1,000 must be picked up in Nakuru. The passports must also be picked up at the regional offices in Eldoret (1,543), Kisii (1,500), and Embu (1,088).
