Kenyan-Canadian lawyer Dr. Miguna Miguna has urged President William Ruto to take action by arresting four high-ranking government officials who served in the previous administration under Uhuru Kenyatta.

Miguna addressed the issue of the declining economy and proposed solutions during his statement. He advised Ruto to focus on solving Kenya's economic doldrums and avoid overtaxing them.

He went ahead and adviced Ruto to rdo this by educing taxes, minimizing borrowing rates, and abandoning the privatization program, which he believed would not address the current economic challenges. Miguna further recommended pursuing former government officials involved in corruption, recovering embezzled funds from government institutions to support the country's financial needs.

Miguna Miguna called on President William Ruto to investigate several individuals, including former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i, his Permanent Secretary Karanja Kibicho, ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru, and Mutahi Ngunyi. Miguna also emphasized the importance of holding former President Uhuru Kenyatta accountable alongside the others to recover funds allegedly misappropriated.

"Repatriation of these colossal sums plundered from Kenyans is what President @WilliamsRuto should focus on for solving Kenya’s economic doldrums. Not privatization. Not binge borrowing. Not overtaxing Kenyans. Deal with these economic saboteurs (Kenyatta, Matiang’i, Kibicho, Mucheru, etc.), including petty thieves like @MutahiNgunyi." Miguna said.
